Our lives have taken more twists and turns than an Ozark highway but we certainly thank God for the country roads that have brought us “home” to the Ozarks. While our permanent home is Enid Oklahoma and our hearts are there because of our families and jobs, we love to get away to one of our “homes away from home” in Branson as often as we can.

Charles grew up in Enid and served 25 years on the Enid Police Department. He now is working on his second and more dangerous career as a Drivers License Examiner. He is a radical OU football fan and spends all the home games in Norman cheering on his team. He is also a huge fan (not quite as radical) of the St Louis Cardinals.

Brenda grew up in the small Missouri town of Houston, about 80 miles east of Branson. She and the Branson Entertainment experience were “born” about the same time and she feels they have grown up together. She has many fond memories of family and school trips to Branson and Silver Dollar City. She is a Registered Nurse working for a hospital in Enid.

Traveling to interesting places is a great love of ours and someday we hope to divide our time between Oklahoma, Branson, the rest of our nation, and the world.

We are so thankful for our huge and wonderful blended family. We are extremely blessed! We have 7 children—all grown now with spouses; and (at the present time) 12 grandchildren-6 boys and 6 girls. Wow! We are so very proud of them all!! Their careers range from Firefighter/Paramedic, Occupational Therapist, various Sales positions, Teachers, State Trooper/Army Chaplain, Accountant, Army Sgt., and Homemakers.

We dreamed of someday owning a log home and still pinch ourselves sometimes when we realize we now own three of them! It was a huge step a faith to buy the first cabin and then as doors were opened, we found the steps a little easier. God has truly blessed us above all we could ask or think and we give Him the thanks for it all. We truly love the vacation rental business because it has enabled us to meet the nicest folks from all over the country. The Branson visitors are just a special brand of people and we love getting to know you and sharing our vacation homes with you.
