Welcome to peaceful paradise. The Great Outdoors Cabin is a wonderful, 2 bedroom cabin drenched in woodsy, wildlife décor and high end luxury. When you walk in the door, you will want to say “Welcome Home!” Relax in the cozy, great room with a wood burning fireplace and soaring cathedral ceiling. A 40-inch flat screen TV with DVD player is housed in rustic entertainment center along with some DVDs and games for you to enjoy. The amazing kitchen is fully equipped for your use with plenty of dishes and appliances. Virtually everything you need is provided! A charcoal grill is just outside the front door. The beautiful granite countertops encourage gourmet cooking or you can just pop a pizza in the oven. Enjoy your yummy creations on the dining table with room for 4 or listen to the sounds of the Ozarks woods as you dine on the screened in back porch. If you like a totally natural experience, enjoy the patio table for 4 in the front yard. Watch out for the mosquitoes! (Charles will never sit out there--he is mosquitoe-a-phobic!)
Cable TV, wireless internet, and a landline phone with free long distance are provided. A new front-loading washer and dryer are available for your convenience.
Continuing the great outdoors theme are the two master suites (one on each side of the great room). They are well appointed bedrooms, each with full bathrooms . One suite is dedicated to bear friends and the other is a tribute to antlered animals. Both bedrooms have queen sized beds and wall-mounted flat screen TVs. The roomy bathrooms are equally luxurious with large whirlpool tubs, double sinks, and separate showers. Linens, candles, and bubble bath are provided! Ahhhh!
Nothing compares to the soothing sounds of the Ozark woods. I grew up falling asleep to those sounds and now it is one of things I love the best about coming to the cabins. The large, screened back porch provides a perfect place to sit and be serenaded by the natural sounds of the woods. Kick back in the comfy, twiggy chairs or enjoy the porch swing and snuggle with your honey. I love the back porch!

Parking is right outside the door and a ramp is in place from the parking area to the front porch.

The Great Outdoors Cabin is in Notch Estates and is 2 doors away from Cabin Dreams, our one bedroom cabin. Notch Estates is a great community where many of the owners live year round. You will pass several large condominium buildings on the way to the cabins. There are always families out playing and people walking dogs or just walking. It is a super friendly place! There are 2 outdoor pools, open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Both have a nice pavilion area near them. A wonderful playset is near the largest one. Notch also has a private fishing pond for owners and guests. No fishing license is required. It is quite a hike to get there, but worth the trip. Actually, the trip down to the lake is not too bad….it is the trip back UP that will get your heart pumping! It is a nice adventure and a great challenge! Try it out and let us know you did it! There are several other hiking trails around the cabins and the condos. Hiking is a passion my best friend and I acquired when we turned 50. Enjoy the trails!
Silver Dollar City is about a mile away and you can hear the train whistle from inside the park. It is super convenient to go to Silver Dollar City from here. To leave Notch and go to Silver Dollar city, you are coming from the west, so you miss the long line of people coming in from Branson. Then when you leave the park, you exit to the west and miss the long lines going back toward Branson. It is great!
This cabin is our newest cabin but we are in love with it already. I think you will be too. C’mon over! You’ll be glad you came to the Great Outdoors!
